TN Spring Star Party

Fall Creek Falls State Park, Cumberland Astronomical Society, Vanderbilt University’s Dyer Observatory and the Astronomy in the Parks Society announced today the Tennessee Spring Star Party will be held May 10-11 at the park. The program is designed to accommodate both beginning stargazers and experienced astronomers.

The Tennessee Spring Star Party begins Friday evening with dark sky field viewing of the beautiful night sky and continues Saturday with astronomy presentations and discussions. There will be more viewing opportunities Saturday evening. Saturday’s events also will include planetarium shows and a special concert.
