Rally Day... April 16, 2013

So what all can my Family do on Rally Day?

1. Come to hear Dr. Michael Farris  speak in the War Memorial Auditorium in the morning.  Meet and pray for the Romeike family in the Rally! They are the German homeschool ffamiy who took refuge in East Tennessee and have lost their political asylum status becasue our Department of Justice under Eric Holder has fought against their political refuge status granted to them by a Federal Immigration Judge! Hear Dr. Farris speak of his defense of the Romeike's. In the afternoon attend his Constitutional Boot Camp!

2. Call your Senator and Representative and arrange an appointment, preferably in the time between 11:30 & 12:30, to meet them, shke hir hand, have your family's picture made with them, deliver the Cookie Bags to their staff and be the face of homeschooling to their office!

3. We NEED YOU to deliver Cookies to our Legislators! Cookie Gift Bags will be prepared for you to take to all the legislator's staff.  The staff cannot wait to get their cookies!  Delivery begins when the program is over. So go pick up the Cookie Gift Bag for your legislators prior to going to your office visit. The Gift Bags will be located on the lowest level, the Legislative Plaza, LP level. Go to the foot of the escalators in LP, then towards Speaker Beth Harwell's office and around the corner from her office to the Cookie table.

4. Plan to attend Michael Farris' Constitutional Boot Camp in the afternoon. This Seminar is for Parents and Students, ages 12 + up.  Younger, mature students with a strong interest in government and history are welcome!

5. Also in the afternoon Christian Communicators of Tennessee will host a Student Congress Tournament in the chambers of the Tennessee House of Representatives on Capitol Hill.

6. Prepare an exhibit to be displayed for our lawmakers in the busy, busy hallway of the Legislative Plaza showing what your home school is doing, dispelling the misunderstanding of poor socialization and academic achievement. Table space is available for either 3' or 6' displays. If you have an exhibit you'd like to display, please contact Pam Archer to request table space for your display(s) at 615-826-9827 or 615-516-6157 or by e-mail at <davidandpam.archer@comcast.net> with Rally Day Display in the subject line.

7. Plan now to join us and Rally for home schooling on Tuesday, April 16th! Together we bring a strong message to those who make our laws that homeschooling is thriving in Tennessee, the rights of parents must be protected and guaranteed by our state laws and we want our lawmakers to represent us faithfully!!
