 Visual & Performing Arts:

Arts Alive 2012-2013 ~ Space is available in our older class for a few more students ages 10 to 13 years old (by Aug. 30th).
Arts Alive is a Visual and Performing Arts Program where home school students meet weekly to explore and experience the Creative Arts from a biblical worldview. Our desire is to cultivate a deep love and appreciation of God, the `Master Artist', and for students to explore and experience their creative gifts!

In the Visual Arts class, students will explore the art fundamentals through a hands-on approach. Projects include drawing, painting, printmaking and three-dimensional artwork. Field trips in the past have included the Frist Visual Arts Center, Cheekwood, or plein-aire painting at Radnor Lake!
Students in the Performing Arts class (drama) will experience musical theatre, basic acting preparation, skits, movement, monologues and singing. And they'll put it altogether for an end-of-the-year performance!

Arts Alive 2012-'13 Begins September 7th and ends May 3rd (28 classes total)
Classes meet on Fridays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
We meet at Fellowship Bible Church, Brentwood, off of Franklin Rd. (and Concord Rd.)
Students will rotate classes and participate in both art and drama every Friday, along with recess on a great playground!
$50.00 registration & supply fee, and $140 Quarterly payments (Sept., Nov., Jan.,  and March ~ 10% sibling discount)
