8 and 10 Under Workshop, and Home School JTT league
http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/ProgramSearch.aspx
Right now, we have 131 players registered. We still need a few more players of all ages to complete tournament teams. We especially need 10 Under boys, 14 Under boys and 18 Under girls. If you have questions about a particular age/team makeup, please let me know.
There will be an 8 Under and 10 Under Workshop at Old Fort Park on Saturday, June 9th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, led by Scott Pennington. Scott is a USTA Southern Section Trainer from Mississippi. This workshop will be GREAT for parents, court helpers, and captains of 8 Under and 10 Under JTT players. Even if you can't stay the whole time, come for as long as you can. The workshop is $10 but it is FREE for our high school court helpers and any parents/captains that have completed the background check and on-line safety class. I hope many people will take advantage of this opportunity. If you will attend, please email Julie and let her know by May 28th. Julie's email is ajwishing@comcast.net.
Finally, if you would be interested in participating in a Home School JTT League this fall or next spring, please let me know. If we have enough players interested, I will coordinate a day time league for home school players.
